Address Data

The most essential data in applications like navigation, last-mile deliveries, geo-coding applications and town planning.

MapmyIndia address data comprises of city, urban, semi urban and rural address directories with different levels of granularity. House and building numbers are covered at the most detailed level while street level maps for all the cities and towns in the country are being provided.

An address will typically have multiple administrative components like a sub locality, locality, associated named streets, Sub districts, Districts and so on. Every address entity is maintained with relation to its lowest administrative record.

Indian addresses are relatively complex as there are multiple ways of writing a single address, and there could be many missing address components in an address. Addressing structure may vary for different cities within the country. MapmyIndia address data is created with these considerations and thus localisations are integrated in the overall data
