Executive Director of MapmyIndia, Rohan Verma, discusses Flipkart’s minority and strategic stake in MapmyIndia with Manvi Sinha Dhillon of NDTV Profit.

What this news means is that Flipkart has engaged with MapmyIndia in two ways. First off, their minority investment has led to a successful exit of MapmyIndia’s early venture capital investors. But secondly, Flipkart has also licensed MapmyIndia’s Advanced Maps, the largest and most accurate data set for India, to strengthen the supply chain and logistics areas of their business.
