MapmyIndia navigator GPS navigation device launched
CE Info Systems has launched a new in-car global positioning system (GPS) navigation device powered by the MapmyIndia service.
This system comes filled with information from the maps of Indian roads and destinations.
The database contains information from 55,000 towns and villages. The device can be placed on the dashboard or windshield of a car and it uses the GPS technology to pinpoint the location of the car with respect to the maps.
Detailed information is available from the major cities in India including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Mohali, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Thane, and Pune.
They are making available two editions: Delphi NAV 200, and Amax 06GP5A.
It is available at a retail price of Rs 21,000 in Delhi, and Rs 22,000 outside Delhi.
