One of our customers wrote to us regarding his experience. We would like to share his experience with all of you. Here it is.
I recently went on a 10,000 kms road trip covering the periphery of India starting from Chennai. Our high level route was Chennai – Rameswaram – Kanyakumari – Kerala – Tumkur – Pune – Mumbai – Amhedabad – Rajkot – Jamnagar – Dwarka – Jaisalmer – Sri Ganganagar – Chandigarh – Manali – Agra – Dhanbad – Kolkata – Bhubaneswar – Puri/ Konark – Vishakapatnam – Chennai.
Just before starting our journey on 3rd September, I bought a Road Pilot GPS from your dealer in Chennai. I would like to thank and congratulate you on a great great product. The GPS device is fantastic (connects quickly, very accurate to probably 10meters or so and has lots of very good features). More importantly, the maps are out of the world and far exceeded my expectation. All that I was hoping for when I bought the GPS was all national highways and important state highways, but I was surprised to see details of small towns in addition to all highways, roads in all towns we drove through, etc – e.g. I was in a small town Morbi in Gujarat, in a lane where only one car could go and even there, the maps had all the details and was telling me to take the next left!!
I was amazed to say the least It’s one thing for US to have such detailed maps – many companies have been working on it for years. It’s truly great for India to have such detailed maps with great details and very accurate points of interests too. I have used GPS maps in US and in South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia) and would say that MayMyIndia GPS machine and the maps are the best that I have seen to date.
We did 10,066 kms in 18 days (3rd to 20th September) and I would sincerely thank Map My India and assert that I probably couldn’t have done it without my “road pilot”. It gave me the confidence of driving through state highways even at 1am at night as I knew I was on the right road.
Hats off to the team at Map My India and many thanks for the great product. Wishing mapmyindia all the success and I will be more than happy to provide a testimonial if required. I will also include a section on mapmyindia GPS on the trip blog that is being developed currently and v1.0 should be out by next week!
Anupam Thanks for such a great feedback.
