Diwali the festival of light, brought everyone together at MapmyIndia. At MapmyIndia we celebrate life creating the aura of peace, happiness and prosperity.
The entire office was decorated with flowers, light, rangoli and lamps. Dressed in traditional Indian attire we celebrated the rich culture of India. The celebrations had started by offering our tribute to Lord Ganesha by presenting few melodious songs. Followed by some amazing performances from MapmyIndians. The celebrations builds the spirit of unity, giving value to every MapmyIndian with the feeling of festivity.
Zee Business interviews our MD & Co-founder, Mr. Rakesh Verma on the Prime Minister’s dreams being realized with our very own GPS system. One use case that MapmyIndia and ISRO have already worked on is an app for fisherman safety that uses NavIC!
Fisherman often unintentionally cross the border and need a smart bluetooth and GPS based system on their phone that not only tells them where they are mostly likely to catch fish, but also alerts them when they are near the international marine boundary.

Time flies when you are building a B2B driven and a B2C oriented, successful technology company. In our fourth move since the company’s founding, we have continued to live by the mantra “work hard and scale up.
We are excited at MapmyIndia, moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things! e have moved to a new and bigger office. We have grown from a 25 employee, 200 sqft office in a commercial market, to a spacious 36000 sqft sprawling office in a business commercial hub housing 750+ employees! Currently situated at 237 Okhla Industrial Area Phase 3 the office is centrally located in the business hub of South Delhi. We thank our customers who have supported and encouraged us through our journey and inspired us to achieve our goals.
Since inception, one of MapmyIndia’s founding principles has been to work in teams ‘to turn impossible to possible’. In this spirit, a senior leadership is sent every year to encourage cross-functional collaboration, and this year they went to Budapest, Vienna and Prague!
“Working for over 10 years at Mapmyindia, it is always refreshing to spend time with my co-workers” says MapmyIndia, COO, Sapna Ahuja. Bringing in the values and experiences, back from a company outing to the office definitely improves workplace environment, creates harmony among co-workers and build teamwork, generating a positive atmosphere for business growth. Soaking in the beautiful cities of Europe: Prague, Budapest and Vienna, the team explored and enjoyed every moment. It was a fun filled way of bringing together a diversity of perspectives that combine to make the team more productive and innovative. They learn to share their thoughts and improve their ability to analyse situations together and perform as a team.
