MapMyIndia has announced the launch of MapMyIndia Navigator 2.0, . The new version contains street level maps of
174 cities, 4,50,000 PoIs (costs 18-21K depending on the hardware).
What’s significant about this release is that it will throw open the a) local search market for tier-2 cities as well (MapMyIndia does provide the listings data to partners at an exorbitant rate), b) LBS might see some light.
What’s your take?
Isn’t MapMyIndia a good acquisition target for Nokia?
