New Delhi, India – CE Info System Pvt Ltd India’s leading provider of GIS services and Novasys SA,
a European leading Location Based Services company today announced their joint venture agreement.
Under this agreement, a new company will be formed to provide location-based services and content for the mobile
subscribers of India for easy navigation and driving directions. Novasys will be providing the technology platform
for these services while CE Info systems will provide first class mapping and Points of Interest content from CE Info.
CE Info systems and Novasys will work closely with mobile telecom operators in order to provide innovative
location based services to the subscriber’s mobile device.
The innovative location based services and content which are to be provided will
help mobile phone users to find their way while driving or planning for a
vacation both within and outside India. The directions and maps which will be
provided will be closest to the last mile direction to help the user find the
location with ease. These services will be availble within the next one months
time, currently the implementation phase and tie up with different operators are
under process.
